The Hop Farm Beer Festival

Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th September 2007

Take this opportunity to sample an array of local ales from the Kent region at The Hop Farm Beer Festival. This year is the first year The Hop Farm will be hosting the festival organised by the SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers) and combined with the spectacular Oast village and backdrop of a once fully working hop farm the event should provide a traditional setting for a great day out.

Over 30 breweries in the South East have booked in to enter over 100 beers competing in categories to include Best Bitters, Strong Ales, Milds and Speciality Beers. The Beer festival will also include craft brewed, traditionally matured continental style lagers produced by breweries in the South East. The judging panel will comprise of Senior SIBA Members, Brewers and Famous Beer Writers.

With Morris dancing and country music the Festival will be packed with activities for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be an opportunity to sample and buy some of Kent's best local produce and other foods from around the world at the Food Fair on the 8th – 9th September.

Opening Times

The Festival will be open to visitors on: Thursday 6th September 5pm until 11pm Friday 7th September 11am until 11pm Saturday 8th September 11am until 11pm Sunday 9th September 11am until 5pm (Subject to supplies)
If you book tickets in advance for The Hop Farm Beer Festival you will be provided with admission to the event, 3 Beer Tokens (1 token = 1/2 pint of Beer value £1.10) and access to all the attractions of The Hop Farm at the Kentish Oast Village.

Admissions

Adults/ Seniors - If you book in advance it's £7.50 and you receive 3 Beer Tokens. On the gate it's £7.50 and you receive 2 Beer Tokens
Children - £6.50 on the gate and in advance.
Camping - £10 per pitch, per night: Must be booked in advance
